Alfie’s Bandits are a 2-piece acoustic act, singing covers of all your favourite songs from the 50’s and 60’s to today’s chart and everything in between. We both sing, we both play, and we don’t use backing tracks. Everything you hear is 100% live and untouched.
Who are we?
Aoife – Aoife is our leading lady. Singing since she was a toddler, Aoife has performed with everyone from ABBA tribute acts to rock bands, wedding bands, and even worked for many years as a solo performer. Aoife has a wealth of stage experience and sings everything from Pink and Adele to Tina Turner and Stevie Nicks!
Jay – Jay has been playing music since he was 16 years old. He served his time with a ballad group, learning guitar and singing techniques with them before venturing out on his own and performing solo for almost 10 years. Bringing everything from Thin Lizzy and Billy Joel to Sam Cooke and maybe even a good old fashioned ballad thrown in for good measure, Jay makes up the other half of Alfies Bandits.
Services
Pubs and Clubs – With over 20 years combined experience on the live music scene, the Bandits have covered some serious miles and played in all types of venues. With a quick turnaround time getting on and off stage, professional equipment and a versatile set, there’s something in a Bandits gig for everyone, and your punters are guaranteed an enjoyable night!
Weddings – Both Aoife and Jay have played a lot of churches and hotels, performing at weddings. In recent years, people have requested the more chilled out approach of a 2 or 3 piece act for their wedding rather than a full band. Especially for smaller weddings or more mature couples. In this regard, Alfies Bandits are the perfect fit. We provide ceremony music, why not walk down the aisle to a live performance of your favourite song? We also do pre-dinner/drinks reception music to fill the free time between the ceremony and your evening meal. Finally, we can play the night of your big day before the DJ, a singsong always goes down well before a dance! We’ve also been known to play the day after the wedding, which is becoming an increasingly popular choice for couples. Alfies Bandits will accommodate you and your loved ones to the best of our ability. We can learn songs if we don’t already know them, and we even offer a personalised song-to-order, a tune written by us with the information you provide, especially for your big day.
